[TR20EHV - TR75EHV] The mold is opened and closed using an electric drive（AC servomotor + ball screw）, giving a high-precision specification. A counterbalance mechanism is employed and the follow-up capability when opening the mold is improved, for a smoother and faster cycle in mold opening / closing operations.
[TR20VRE - TR40VRE] A hydraulic system is used to open and close the mold.

	● The three hydraulic cylinders for opening and closing the mold are placed in an arrangement well balanced with the movable platen that is coupled to the tie bar, in specifications designed to achieve good mold straightness.
	● Using Sodick Plustech's proven locking direct pressure system, straightness is greatly improved since the mold opening and closing operations are kept stable.
	● Not arranging the mold clamping and mold opening/closing operations on the same axis makes it possible to lower the machine's bed.
